i have had several winchs an i will not settle for anything less then 10000. you can never go wrong by buying bigger then you will need. if you buy a littler one, you might be maxing it an then some most of the time. an you will start having prpblems. i just bought a new trailer an bought a new 10000 for it, the last one went with the old trailer. 5 years old never a bit of problem johndeeregene
