I've never seen one, just the bigger ones such as a 3688, BUT if they are anything like a 5088(I have examined several), only smaller, they ought to be very good indeed. My personal preference for an 80hp tractor is a John Deere 4030, for the mid to late 1970s. The 3088 is the smallest 3x88 tractor, and appears to be somewhat scarce to find. I am suspecting that many executives at Deere & Company were glad to see CASE dispose of that line of tractors in 1985. I certainly would consider one, should I find myself looking for an 80hp class tractor and had one come up for sale, however.
