Great way to restore a vehicle, but all you do doing as described above is put pretty paint over mechanical problems. If you don't know hardly anything about your tractor, get someone who does to assess it for you and go from there. My advice is get it totally mechanically sound before you paint. Its probably going to take a while and cost a lot of money, and be prepared to come up against some big problems.
