My buddy's Dad had a Massey Harris 44 special that had a hose that went on air cleaner stack after removing the mushroom cap and a cap screw into the muffler side on a muffler with a 2" hole in the outer shell of muffler to accept a metal insert on the air hose to take heated air through the carb. Had to be put on in early fall and left in working postion until late spring when humidity would drop some as the long intake throat very prone to icing even on damp summer nights. Paul from Ontario
