Once you use a MFWD utility tractor you will wonder how you ever put up with a tractor with out it!!! Haveing said that, i begged, pleated and just couldn't stand it untill a neighboring farmer friend "sold me" the tractor my dad had on the farm when i was a kid! (he sold it to them in the 60's) There's NO WAY i'd sell your family tractor, because i believe you will be very sorry when the "newness" wears off it's replacement!! I've seen sone pretty good deals on Agco Allis 4650's from time to time, and although they require more maintance than the 5000 series that replaced them, (greaseing the MFWD every 10 hrs) they are a very good tractor and are tough enough to stand up to real farming.
