Catskill; I think it depends a lot what you use the tractor for. Mowing is easy on it, plowing not so easy and so forth. 6200 hours is a lot of time, and "the best" has been used. I have a brother that has put 12,000 hrs on Cat D-6, before the went into the engine, that's a lot of time!! Every machine is different, but on the adverage I think 6000/7000 hours is a lot of time., there is no "set rule" on time!!!
