If the tractor was degreased and washed prior to sand blasting, you would not need to do much. Blow the machine down with your air compressor.

For the sheet metal could be blown off, then wiped down with laquer thinners or clean-sol ( dupont )with 2 clean rags. 1 to apply the solvent and a follow up rag to clean right behind the solvent ( remember the Karate Kid movie wax on wax off). Once the surface is prepped go over the sheet metal with a tack rag.

Once the surface is prepped you should prime with zinc chromate or expoxy based primer to seal off the clean metal from rust.
