Jim, Probably he is sick of Woodbeef and Robert In W Michigan verbally defacating on anyone who trys to give a sensible answer to anyone asking about any tractor other than Valtras on the Todays Tractor board. I love the oldies, as a matter of fact the 70 gas we have is my favorite, even got lotsa helpful advice from you when we were going through her! ...but my wallet loves the new ones, and ya forgot to tell him to stop at the Kubota dealer!!! ...coulda saved him 4 or 5 more stops!!! hehe Keep tractoring! Product Review: Lead Substitutes - by Mike Schordine. Lead was oriinally added to gasoline as an upper cylinder lubricant. It lubes the valves and seats. If you rebuild the motor, you could use hardened seats and valves, and unleaded fuel. But if your old tractor runs good, a simple lead substitute added to the gas is a perfectly reasonable solution. And, if you are like me, your tractor is under cover, but it sits outside. So with every temperature change, the humidity in the air collects in the fuel tank, in the form of water.
