Time for my two cents. There have been a lot of fine tractors mentioned. I will add that I have known more than one Ford n series to flip backwards. My opinion that they are highly over rated and don't even compare to the hundred series. The Ford hundred series tractors are very nice to operate low to the ground and comfortable as are the M-F TO 20 and 30. All fine machines. You may not need all that h.p. on just ten a.c. though. I'm also a big Farmall fan, easy to get parts for and very reliable. 300 utility makes a fine tractor over all. Don't rule out my big favorite the Super C. You can get one with a wide front, h.p. matches your needs and 3pt. hitch conversion is redily avalible. With an over run couple you can run a 5' brushhog, 6' finish mower, pull a two bottom plow, back blade and just about anything you need to do on 10 a.c. Just my 2C. If you decide to buy a small Cub to just mow with I have one almost done being refurbished. Motor is overhauled and runs like a dream. Just waiting for a warm day to paint her. (couldn't resist a quick plug for the Cub)
