My wife suffered a puncture wound in her hand a few years ago. We initially thought that we got all of the glass out but went to the ER anyway. Well, the ER physician couldn't be sure that all of the glass was removed and she ultimately had hand surgery. And, what a blessing that was. The surgeon found a lot of minute, almost microscopic shards of glass that might have traveled through her body or, in the best case, would have continually cut tissue, including tendons, etc. Apparently, the hand is one of the worst places to have glass imbedded. I hope you've had a physician take a look at your wound.
