When you looked after the fiasko was the hitch open? was the pin broken? Did you stop some where like a gas station or restaurant? At the local truck stop a trailers fifth wheel pin was pulled while the driver was eation. When he pulled out the trailer dropped off the rear of the tractor and the 44 thousand pounds in the box drove the landing gear legs up thre the trailer floor.
