I do not know what you will be specifically using your loader tractor for, however, I can tell you that I had run 2wd tractors with loaders for many years. About 4 years ago, I bought a 4wd tractor and added a new loader to it. What a difference! I can do things under conditions where I wouldn't dream of even attempting it with a 2wd tractor. The big difference is that when you pick up a big bucket full of whatever-you still have traction to move. With a 2wd tractor, you aren't going anywhere unless you are on a fairly hard surface. Once the weight is taken off the back wheels all you do is spin! My .02 worth.
