Now that is the first comment on wide vs. narrow front ends that makes and sense. Yes I agree that a narrow could be more stable the way you explained it. Why anyone would think a wide front makes a tractor more stable is KIDDING them self or don't understand how a front end works on a tractor! Remember that it PIVOTS and if you are on a hill and the tractor starts to roll, that wide front end will not do you any good untill the front axel hits its stop and by that time the tractor is rolling over anyway!!! I have tractors with both wide and narrow front ends and found that the front end has NOTHING to do with the stability of the tractor. WIDTH and HEIGHT has everthing to do with the stability of the tractor - NOT THE FRONT END!!!!!
