Our 1974 Case 1070 broke the rear output shaft twice (6,000 & 10,000 hours), each time the dealer split the tractor for repair there was also another one in the shop for the same problem. Seemed to be an engineering flaw he said. Otherwise is a good machine. Too bad I've paid for it twice now...
