It's not that a nearly 50 year old MH baler is so rare, all balers of this vintage are. Lots of moving parts, drap canvases, all these items wear. Old New Holland 75/76 balers were tired after a dozen years. Wisconsin motors with burnt valves, canvases on pick-up torn up, belts, chains,gears worn;no 25 good years, like a 282. The MH #1 was a good baler, about 50 years ago, most being scrap iron today. Better to focus on the MH tractors, many friendly classics in correct red.
