Go to the mfgr to get specs on what you have- before you split something and get hydraulic oil injected into your skin at high pressure, which causes infection and other health problems. This is the problem with people cobbling together something without knowledge of what they are working with. The relief valve is set for the proper level for equipment it SHOULD be connected with- not necessarily what you connected it to. The diameter of the cylinder rod does not determine how much push a cylinder can safely generate, and a pressure gauge will only tell you how much pressure was generated just before it blew up in your face, if you can remember that when you are released from the hospital.
