If your foot brakes are adjusted to specs there should be some adjustment in the linkage coming off of the hand brake lever. That's how it is on my B414, if I am remembering correctly. I will have a look at my shop manual tonight (which also covers the B250) to see what I can find. You may also want to check out the B-series forum over at Yahoo. There are a lot of B250 owners over there who could probably help you out.
