Farmall H Tractors-- why are they so cheap??

Hello, all.
Before I pose my question, I want to thank you guys for posting so much great info. I've learned a lot from this site. Here's my question: Why are Farmall H tractors so dad-blasted cheap? In my area (N. Alabama/Middle Tennessee) I've seen several for sale in the $700-800 range. We've been looking for a tractor for our farm and I keep looking for reasons to explain why these particular tractors are cheap while Ford 8Ns and Farmall Cubs are so much more (I know, that's apples and oranges...) Is it simply a matter of collectability, or are the Farmall H's not such good tractors? Thanks again,
