Alan, If you buy any "near" new tractor of the size you need it's probably going to be foreign built!! That's not a bad thing, as there's lots of good foreign tractors. AND, any NEW tractor you buy today that's under 90 or so hp "WILL" be foreign, as they all are these day no matter what color they paint them!! Two of the best deals i see today are 5650 Agco Allis tractors. They have everything you will ever need, and are all modern! A Agco Allis 4650 or 4660 would also fill the bill and are also good tractors. These models aren't well known, and in 2wd sell very reasonable, so the prices are lower than other brands this size. In my opinion, they are tougher than any compact, or any newer tractor this size no matter the brand. I have two, and they are excelent tractors. Robert
