I buy industrial grade oven cleaner by the gallon from a kitchen chemicals wholesaler. Works better than EZ-OFF or the household oven cleaners. Put it on generously with a paint brush, let it sit overnight, do it again, wait 30 minutes or so, then hit it with my pressure washer. The stuff all comes off to bare metal. As mentioned earlier, cover any openings and stay away from seals, etc. Works as well as a steam cleaner, and lots cheaper. Good luck. Regards..........P
