If your engine is fitted with exhaust valve seat inserts, then you definitely don't. If not, you may find you need to do a valve seat job a bit sooner. Then is the time to have the inserts fitted and then you wouldn't need any additives....now look up these 60 posts (and umpteen more from last year). Have fun. Btw - I would put some in only when I was working it really hard if it doesn't have inserts.
