I am more familiar with the IH's, and I think since all Farmalls before the 06 series were basically designed for narrow front, and look their best with that good ol' tricycle front. I have seen only a few 706's with narrow front, and they look pretty good, but they look equally as good with a wide front too. On a side note, we have a 706 narrow front we used to use for corn picking, then used it on our 826 for the same reason, but since we don't pick corn anymore, it sits in our shed. Ripped off the widefront off our 856 one year in a sink hole, put that NF on it. 22.2" rear tires, weights bracket in the front, looked like a pulling tractor. Best tractor on narrow front I've ever seen, but was awkward to drive-nearly fell out of the seat.
