I bought one in 1988 for used $4,000. sold it in 1999 for $3000 when quit farming. Replaced several bearinga and about half of the floor chains in that period of time. I baled my hay and 3 of my neighbors hay. Baled from about 3.5 to as big as it would go. had very little trouble with it. Grease the chains with old oil after a days bailing and a good look over you are ready for another day. The only regular maintenance is oil, grease, keeping chains at correct tension. Very reliable baler. I would buy another if I needed a baler.
