Having driven plenty of early wide fronts, and grown up on narrow fronts, the tractors with wide front axles before power steering, turned a little tough, especially for the youngsters that did a lot of the row crop work. Even a kid could turn a tractor with a narrow front, with help of the steering brakes. Plus everything that Shep said, he was right on the money. John in Ne.
