Well I have no idea of prices of backhoes so I can't help you there but I have run a 580B. The B series is less desirable. The one we had was prone to transmission problems and the brakes would rarely work for very long. I am surprise about the options that it has. I didn't think the 4 in 1 buckets and the extenda hoe options were available for the Bs. Remember that the B series is quite old, ask what year it is. The 580Ds are when they were a better hoe in my opinion.
