A friend of mine owned one and he was not impressed, he recently traded it for a Honda 450 ES. I don't know about the under power thing but he said that it steered heavy and handle poorly. Maybe I can get him to post a message and he can tell you his feelings. I would suggest that you stay with the 3 or 4 popular brands. I own a Yamaha and my father owns a Suzuki and they are both good machines.
