After being a Union and Non-Union Electrician for around 35 years there hasn't been one shop I have worked for that hasn't done jobs with out permits. One Union shop I worked for I did most of the smaller jobs that way, so don't give me this Hack stuff! They all do a few now and then Union or not! You sound like a 2nd year aprentice with a chip on your shoulder. If you stay in the trade long enought you will meet building inspectors, electrical inspectors who don't pull them and do side work to make ends meet or fix up there own places. Oh by the way Cops speed to in there privet cars if you did not know that. Maybe you can get another cop to give them a ticket. Mark H.
