Yes you can run an inverter on a tractor with a generator. It just might take a little longer for the battery to charge back up if you pull a lot of juice through the inverter, and you may in fact pull the battery down to where the inverter shuts down while the tractor is running! The biggest problem you will have with your plan is that you will need a pretty big inverter (power wise) to pull the motor on that mixer. And that equals big $$$$!
