I have never worked on an Oliver before, but a neighbor wanted me to hook up an auxiliary valve set (3 levers) to his Oliver 1850. He was told that there was a pressure port somewhere under the seat where we could plumb into to get pressure directly from the pump. I have taken several pressure readings from different ports and all of them need the "lift arm" lever to be in the full lift position, so as to bypass the relief valve and supply pressure. Is there something I am missing here? Is there only pressure at these ports when the lift arms are all the way up? We want to be able to use the lift arms and still have the factory remote levers free.... The aux. levers are for running a loader and hay handling attachments. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
