The coil, condenser and ign switch when bad can heat up and quit and when they cool down operate well again. A dirty screen in the fuel tank can give these symtoms. The gas will trickle through the rust and dirt and fill up your fuel line and then the tractor will run till it uses that gas. More sceens to clean at the fuel bowl.
