Do you have gas in the tank, the fuel shutoff on, gas running out of the carburator when you take the plug out of the bottom or open drain valve. If no spark have you checked the points for corrosion and maybe changed the condenser.That is if you are getting power to the coil from the ignition switch, the wire that doesn't go to the dirstributor. If you have fuel, spark, (a good one blue, that will jump a quarter inch or so), then it should run. To check spark pull a plug wire and put something metal in the boot on the end of the wire. Now hold it with a rag and don't touch the tractor, next hold the metal about 1/8 to 1/4" away from a good solid ground ( a bolt head or frame rail) and with a glove on or hit the starter and watch for the spark. Maybe all these precautions are not necessary, but I don't like getting bit. When checking for gas at the carburator drain let a cup or two of gas run out to check for flow and to drain any water in the carb out. Also check the fuel filter for water. If an engine is going to start it will usually do so in way less than 30 seconds, maybe 5, 10 at the most. Tractor engines usually start fast if they are going to. How did it start before?
