I have a JD baler with a kicker, and am not sure what to tell you. Only thing I would be sure of is that when you are baling, make sure the next bale coming out of the chamber is not jitting the kicker on its return and stopping it from latching. if this is the case, you might want to change bale length, or ground speed. if thats not it I would talk to a JD repair man that KNOWS about these kickers.
