Try an automotive radiator flush, rinse and neutralizer before you have the radiator shop try it. It may take a couple of tries as the deposits will weaken the flush solution, but you will be cleaning the coolant passages of the block also.

When you have finished flushing, consider the source of the mineral deposits. We have hard water here,I always use distilled water for battery and radiator.
