Actually, we somewhat read by the shape of the word. And frankly spelling and grammar errors in a post tend to diminish my opinion of the poster greatly. Even if the poster imparts great wisdom, it looks like it is coming from an unreliable source. If there seems to be some real wisdom in it, I usually try to dig it out. If it's too bad, I'll just skip it! Wish there was a spell check available on this board! My poor typing and I'd sure use it!
