I have a Ford 3000 I believe. It is a 3 cylinder diesel that has the vents on the hood. The man I bought it from says it is a late 60's model some where between 67-69. My problem is the transmission. It is an 8 speed with a low and high range and it jumps out of gear going down hill. The transmission actually jumps out of the high and low range and not the gears them selves. Third gear some times jumps out when I am mowing. But that usually stops when it gets good and warmed up. Is there a simple solution besides compleately rebuilding the trans or selling the tractor. Is there possibaly a web site that will have a diagram of my transmission so I don't have to go to Ford? Thanks: Mark
