Like gene b said, that book will be a big help. I restored a '40 B before that book came out, but I am not always a stickler for originality.
Basicly, everything was painted red at the factory except such things as the magneto, tires, steering wheel rim & seat cover.
A Farmall B is a good tractor to restore for a first timer, because everything is simple and the parts are small & light enough to handle with an engine lift. Those tires are a little oversized, but many people like oversize tires, do whatever looks best to your eye.
