In my experience, replace thermostat, replace upper hose, replace lower hose, pressure test radiator cap, replace fan belts. If heating continues, see if water is circulating properly. Next take radiator off to radiator shop. Have boil-out or rod-out, depending on condition. Have shop clean external fins and straighten fins. Use 50/50 mix. DO NOT use any stop leak products.
