Sounds like a 49 Ferguson TE-20 to me.Should have forward tilting hood,all gray color.To those unfamiliar,the Harry Ferguson/Henry Ford partnership is confusing,in effect Fergusons tractor co developed the three point hitch on Fergies,and agreed to Ford using the Ferguson hitch system on its Ford tractors,so in effect a Ford Ferguson was a Ford tractor using the Ferguson hitch system.ID numbers on Fords were stamped on block,Fergies usually had a dashboard plate.If I recall right Fergies prefixed TE(tractor-england)were for English market and had British electrics.Models for export were TO(tractor overseas)and had US electrics.Click on H Ferguson link in gray bar across top of these forums.
