Why is it that you think it is an Avery? Does it have Avery decals on it? The reason I ask is that the earlier version of Avery's were Cletrac Generals which were orange. The later versions were after MM took over the lineup and the tractors were painted MM gold color. Since it has two front wheels (narrow front tricycle) I would guess one of the MM models from early 50's. No Averys were orange to my knowledge.
