Something that hasn't been said yet. The WD will be an easy tractor to rig up a 3-point on in the future. I've built a 3-point hitch for an H farmall, which is about the same as an M, and a WD both. With the WD you should already have the rock shaft and the lift cylinders. All you have to add are the lift arms, links and a top link connection. With the M everything has to be built from scratch. I can't say for an M, but my WD without added weight will outpull our H that has about 500lb. worth of wheel weights. Both tractors spin before the bog down. The WD is a great mowing tractor. I think that the M would be a more comfortable tillage tractor. My personal preference is that the WD will be easier to work on.
