Motor will not start. I took the head off the low compression side and found nothing wrong with the valves. I check the spark plug gap and made sure they were at 0.030. Then I did get the tractor to run after everything was together for a few minutes. The motor then stopped dead. I took one of the spark plugs out and held it made sure it was clean, replaced it and the motor started right up. Then shut off again. Did the same thing over and over till i gave up for the night. I am using a brand new set of Champion 5861's. I wanted one of the Champions listed in the repair manual but no one had them. Could this problem be the spark plugs?
