I have a King Kutter brush hog that I use to maintain about 20 acres of pasture, plus I use it on several of my neighbors' pastures to help them out. King Kutter definitely gives you the most bang for your buck. I've used mine on all kinds of brush, and even saplings up to around 2 inches in diameter. I've never had a problem with it, even though I abuse the crap out of it. For your application, I think it's the way to go.
