510 perkins used in the 1150 mf 540 perkins used in the 1150-2745 mf 640 perkins used in the 2775-2805 mf and of course different combines as well. the v-8 perkins was not actually a bad motor, just the same as any other model motor from cat, cummins, and john deere. the v-8 motors just are not as good as the inline sixs
