Cleaning/Rebuild Carburetor

Marvel Scherbler carburetor. I have soaked it in NAPA carburetor cleaner overnite. It did lossen all the crud build up but: The fuel bowl has much rust in the bottom. Thought I might add a little acid to attack the rust but there is some brass fittings near the bottom so dismissed that idea. Looking for suggestions from the experts. Thanks,
