I was contacted by a fellow who wanted to buy a Ford 901 diesel I had for sale--he sent me a $7000 "certified check" after I went along with his scam for a couple of weeks. I was only asking $1500 for the tractor and he claimed that "they" made a mistake when cutting the check--asked me to wire back the difference. I still have the check as a souvenir....
