The anti-seatbelt people trot this old fire/stuck seatbelt story out every time. Rates right up there with the Youth Group church story with the "Welcome to the world of aids" written on the bathroom mirror by the previous nights lover.
I take it you have never picked windshield glass from the face of a girl that used to be pretty. Or picked up the body ejected from a vehicle crash/rollover. Anyone who tells you that not being securely held inside the vehicles protective zone also deny that cigarettes ever killed anyone. By the way, ever see the parents who child was crushed between the Mother and the car dash? Children belong buckled in in the backseat.
Also, how many of you have pto's without the proper shield and covers? That is just careless to the point of being passively evil. In a hurry, can't afford repairs..... pure foolishness.
