Yes, 100in. rear axles were an option, at least for the H. The standard axle was 75.5in. from outside edge to outside edge. I believe IH measured the 100in. (and other tire widths) from the middle of the tires, judging from the illustration in my H manual. The other reason I think this, is the wheels can be extened to a max width of 90 3/4in. at outside edges of wheels on the standard axle. So what would be the point of the 100 inchers if this wasn't so?
