High price of Farmall Cubs; Allis?

I am dreaming of spring and looking for my next project. I got a Farmall calendar for cmas and starting thinking about a cub with mower and snow blade. Perfect. But the darn things are very pricey in my area - really cant get below 2 grand with those attachments, nice ones are 2500 or more. Geesh I could just get a nice garden tractor for that with more HP and a bigger deck...so my other thought was a smaller Allis letter series - anyone know if a woods belly deck can be attached? Models to research? Several months of frigid boredom, so I am looking forward to some more archive reading...
