I have a 1994 with 160,000 miles on it and it has never given any engine problems. The electronic injection pump had been replaced just before I bought it at 58,000 miles, and I have had no problems with that, either. I have heard of some engines failing well below 100,000 miles, and some are still knocking along at 300-400,00 miles. Yours has a updated motor with improved cooling, and, I believe, some re-design of areas of the block that were prone to cracking in the older 6.5's. Of course, if you have bad luck, and the engine goes down it's BIG BUCKS to fix, or replace, as are the Duramax's, 'strokes, and Cummins.
