mike... better check your fact giver... he does NOT deserve a Bud. the 6.0 Ford (Navistar) Turbo Diesel motor IS A V8 not a V6. Ford is looking for a V6 to put into a F150, but nothing has been announced yet. The only advantage the old Ford Diesel had over the Dodge was cubic inches, now that they are trying to get I6 torque out of a small (6.0 liter)V-8 I think they will have longevity issues if motors are worked hard. remember the 300 I-6 ford gas motor, slow but would pull like the dickens and last doing it. The I-6 design is excellent for working, the v-8 is excellent for racing. Wonder what most people do with their trucks? Duane.
